CLASS DETAILS: A fun, informative and supportive series of classes where students learn basic vocal technique and sing songs as a group with some individual instruction given. All classes start with breath and vocal exercises with piano. Total beginners to intermediate level are welcomed. Students are expected to practice the warmups (provided) and do their best to memorize lyrics to songs.

Weekly Topics Include:

Proper Breath Control, Head Voice/Chest Voice, Singing with Emotion, Dynamics, Rhythm and Live Performance.

The course consists of (4) 60-minute singing lessons with groups of up to 4.

Kat founded Voice Academy NYC once she discovered her knack for teaching people how to sing better. Born, raised and educated in Stockholm, Sweden, Kat has also been an active singer/songwriter/performer who also works with several production companies and record labels to find, develop and nurture musical talent from kids to adults, with a long list of student achievements that prove results. Class cycle repeats every 4 weeks.
